As part of the Lao Cai Investment Promotion Conference 2026, a delegation from Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province (China), together with representatives from Yunnan Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Digital Network Technology Co., Ltd., conducted a field survey at Lao Cai Southern Industrial Park to evaluate its investment environment, infrastructure, and industrial development potential.

- 500 million pairs of wooden chopsticks.
- 50,000 cubic meters of plywood.
Its modern production lines enable the company to supply high-quality export products while increasing the value of Vietnam’s wood-processing industry.
4. Strong Revenue Growth Demonstrates Business Efficiency
Benchmark Industries has maintained stable business performance.
Key financial indicators include:
- Annual revenue: Approximately VND 220 billion.
- Revenue in the first six months of 2026: VND 82.3 billion.
- State budget contribution: VND 3.2 billion during the first half of 2026.
These figures highlight both the company’s operational efficiency and its contribution to Lao Cai’s economic development.
5. High-Value Manufacturing Strategy Enhances Competitiveness
Rather than competing in conventional plywood products, Benchmark Industries has focused on premium manufacturing.
Its flagship product is:
- 2.4-meter laminated wood panels, compared with the standard 1.8-meter products commonly available on the market.
The company is currently the only manufacturer within Lao Cai Southern Industrial Park capable of producing this specialized product, giving it a significant competitive advantage in export markets.
6. Creating Jobs and Improving Local Incomes
Benchmark Industries also plays an important role in local employment.
Currently, the company provides:
- Jobs for 155 local workers.
- Monthly salaries ranging from VND 10–12 million per employee.
After completing its new production line, the company plans to:
- Expand its workforce to approximately 250 employees.
- Create additional employment opportunities for local residents.

Following the site visit, the Chinese delegation highly appreciated:
