Taseco Land Acquires 75% Stake in Industrial Infrastructure Developer, Accelerating Expansion Toward a 1,000-Hectare Industrial Land Bank

Vietnam’s industrial real estate market continues to witness strong merger and acquisition (M&A) activity as Taseco Land (HOSE: TAL) officially approved the acquisition of a 75% equity stake in Plaschem Infrastructure Investment and Business JSC. The transaction marks another strategic step in the company’s long-term expansion plan, aiming to build an industrial land portfolio of nearly 1,000 hectares over the next few years.industrial-land.webp

Against the backdrop of rising foreign direct investment (FDI), global supply chain diversification, and increasing demand for industrial land, the acquisition is expected to strengthen Taseco Land’s position in Vietnam’s rapidly growing industrial property sector.

Taseco Land Acquires a 75% Stake in Plaschem Infrastructure

According to the Board of Directors’ resolution, Taseco Land will acquire more than 2.6 million shares, representing 75% of the charter capital of Plaschem Infrastructure Investment and Business JSC.

The transferred equity is valued at VND 262.5 billion based on par value.

Upon completion of the transaction, Plaschem Infrastructure will become a subsidiary of Taseco Land. The acquisition is expected to be completed during July 2026.

The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia as the authorized representative responsible for managing Taseco Land’s entire capital contribution in Plaschem Infrastructure for a five-year term.

Who Is Plaschem Infrastructure?

Plaschem Infrastructure Investment and Business JSC was established in June 2022 with an initial charter capital of VND 200 billion. The company specializes in real estate investment and industrial infrastructure development.

Its founding legal representative was Mr. Bui To Minh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Plaschem Group.

In August 2025, the company increased its charter capital to VND 350 billion to support business expansion.

By the end of July 2026, Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia had become the company’s Chief Executive Officer and legal representative, paving the way for management integration following the acquisition.

A Portfolio of Industrial Parks and Industrial Clusters

According to information published by the Plaschem ecosystem, the company is involved in several industrial infrastructure projects across Vietnam.

Dong Van I Expansion Industrial Park (Ha Nam Province)

Key highlights include:

  • Total area of approximately 103 hectares.
  • Divided into two development zones.
  • Recognized as one of Ha Nam Province’s earliest industrial parks.

Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster

Project features include:

  • Total area of approximately 44 hectares.
  • Comprises six development zones.
  • Located in Long An Province (now part of Tay Ninh Province following administrative adjustments).

By acquiring Plaschem Infrastructure, Taseco Land gains immediate access to ongoing industrial projects, significantly shortening development timelines compared to launching new projects from scratch.

A Strategic Move Amid Vietnam’s Industrial Park M&A Wave

In recent years, mergers and acquisitions have become one of the fastest ways for developers to expand their industrial land portfolios.

Rather than waiting years for new project approvals, many investors are choosing to acquire companies that already possess:

  • Approved industrial land.
  • Existing infrastructure projects.
  • Clear legal status.
  • Established customer relationships.

The acquisition of Plaschem Infrastructure aligns perfectly with this industry trend and enhances Taseco Land’s long-term competitiveness.

Dong Van III: The Foundation of Taseco Land’s Industrial Strategy

Before this acquisition, Dong Van III Industrial Park in Ha Nam Province was Taseco Land’s flagship industrial project.

Project highlights include:

  • Total area of 223 hectares.
  • Investment policy approved in 2023.

As of June 30, 2026, inventories related to the project exceeded VND 550 billion, including:

  • Land-use rights.
  • Site clearance costs.
  • Infrastructure construction.
  • Project development expenses.
  • Borrowing costs.

The figures demonstrate the company’s continued commitment to expanding its industrial real estate business.

Further Expansion Through Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park

Taseco Land has also secured approval for Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park in Hai Phong.

The project features:

  • Nearly 245 hectares of industrial land.
  • Total investment of approximately VND 3.94 trillion.

Hai Phong remains one of Vietnam’s fastest-growing industrial hubs, attracting global manufacturers in electronics, engineering, logistics, and high-tech industries.

Targeting Nearly 1,000 Hectares of Industrial Land

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of Taseco Land, the company aims to develop an industrial land bank of nearly 1,000 hectares within the next several years.

To achieve this objective, the company plans to:

  • Acquire additional industrial park projects.
  • Cooperate with strategic partners.
  • Develop six industrial clusters across northern Vietnam.
  • Launch one to two additional industrial parks in the near future.

This strategy is expected to create sustainable long-term revenue while diversifying the company’s investment portfolio.

Vietnam’s Industrial Real Estate Outlook Remains Positive

Vietnam continues to be one of Asia’s most attractive destinations for industrial investment.

Key growth drivers include:

  • Strong FDI inflows.
  • Global supply chain relocation.
  • Rising demand for manufacturing facilities.
  • Continuous infrastructure improvements.
  • Supportive government investment policies.

Developers with large industrial land reserves and well-developed infrastructure are expected to benefit the most from these trends.

Outlook

The acquisition of 75% of Plaschem Infrastructure significantly strengthens Taseco Land’s industrial real estate platform. Combined with projects such as Dong Van III Industrial Park, Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park, and plans to develop additional industrial parks and industrial clusters, the company is steadily building a large-scale industrial ecosystem. As Vietnam continues to attract international manufacturers and FDI, Taseco Land is well positioned to capitalize on growing demand for industrial land and modern manufacturing infrastructure.

Conclusion

Taseco Land’s acquisition of a 75% stake in Plaschem Infrastructure represents a major milestone in its industrial real estate expansion strategy. With an ambitious goal of developing nearly 1,000 hectares of industrial land, a growing portfolio of strategic projects, and favorable market conditions, the company is positioning itself as one of Vietnam’s emerging industrial park developers. If current expansion plans progress as expected, Taseco Land is likely to strengthen its market presence and create long-term value for investors and business partners.
